Lizzy McAvoy hails from Central Ohio and has called Nashville home for the past 13 years. Lizzy is a prolific singer-songwriter, gifted multi-instrumentalist and talented producer. Lizzy’s songs have been recorded by artists such as Jo Dee Messina (“Love on a Maybe”), the Shires (“Speechless” – certified silver), Home Free (“Timeless”); and Sondr’s rendition of her “Live Love Learn” (feat. Peg Parnevik) has received over 16 million streams on Spotify, over 5.3M views on YouTube and is certified gold. Her song “Butterfly Effect” featuring award-winning artist, Tenille Arts was CCMA nominated for album of the year in 2020. Lizzy’s songs have been featured in BooHoo Fashion ads, Nicholas Sparks’ movie soundtrack for “The Best of Me”, and in a high-profile Dodge Ram ad.
Lizzy has penned deals with Major Bob Music and Universal Music Publishing Group. In 2017, Lizzy branched out on her own and began Lizzy McAvoy Productions: a Nashville–based hybrid recording studio focused on blending analog and digital production resulting in a classic new-age vibe.
As an artist, Lizzy has four albums under her belt, including “Be Brave”, which was chosen for CMT’s Artist Discovery — spending 12 weeks in the top 10 and three weeks at number two — and her most recent offering, “Diary of a 20 Something.”
Lizzy brings knowledgable, warm, and a fun approach to music and production. Lizzy’s current mainstream releases include The Shires current radio single “Cut Me Loose” and MaRynn Taylor’s “Boxes”.
